Our Colonial Thanksgiving Pot Luck was a huge success! So many good meats, foods, and desserts! Thank you to all the families that participated and were able to come in, or send in dish! What a fun way to go into the Thanksgiving Weekend!

Students were encouraged to buy a paper feather from your teacher for $1. Write why you are thankful for your teacher/class on it. Decorate the feather! Add it to your teacher’s Thankful Turkey! The teacher with the most feathers got pied! Ms. Park beat out our class by 3 feathers! Thank you to everyone who participated!
What a great way for students to get to see a middle school elective in action! Students got to sing along to some holiday classics as well!
We finished up our Unit on Multiplication and Volume. Students we're working in teams to collaboratively problem solve. They we're given papers with cut outs to 9 level's of a tower. They had to calculate volume of each level as well as the total tower, and then assemble!
The Bookit program has started! Our goal for the month of November is for each student to read aloud a total of 15 days at home for at least 20 minutes each time! This equates to every other day for the month! Each day they do it, they shade in the heart for that day, and parents initial above it to verify! If they meet there goal, they will receive a Free Personal Pizza coupon to Pizza Hut! We will be setting new goals each month! Click the link below to learn more.

Parent initials are required! http://bookitprogram.com/ The following paper went home for our 5th grade end of the year grade level party! We will be doing a trip to Dave & Busters! The cost is 35-40 dollars, so we are fundraising in the month of November! Students can sell $10 and $20 power cards, and half of the money comes back for their trip! This form, along with a order tracker were sent out! Please begin!
