What a great day to end the year! It's been a complete joy to work with all the students, parents, and families this 2015-2016 School Year! For those of you moving on to Wheeler, I hope to see you visit me next year! For Nathaniel, Sylver, John, and Scott, I wish you the best of the luck in your move back to the mainland! I love you all so much, and look forward to hearing from you as you move on into this new exciting chapter of Middle School!

Some pictures of our class at May Day! Also our gentlemen in white, Wilfred, Scott, and Isaiah, were selected by their peers to represent for various island princes on the court. Way to go everyone! I was impressed with the work ethic for each student in practicing and rehearsing their May Day dance.
Aloha Parents,
We would like to invite you to our May Day Celebration on Friday, May 13, 2016. The program starts at 8:45am so please arrive a little early for seating in the field fronting the O Building. 5th grade requests that all students wear a plain, red shirt, khaki shorts or skirts, and bring their own lei to wear. Comfortable shoes are a must and please put on sunscreen prior to sending them to school. We understand that everyone would like to take pictures of their child, but please be courteous of students and family members watching the performances. We ask that you also be mindful of the designated boundaries. Your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. After the Program
Each student needs to return the form below. Please take a minute to complete it and return it to your child(ren)’s teacher(s). In order to learn about the Earth's rotation in relation to the Sun, and it's place in the Solar System, we used lamps to mimic the sun, and globes to represent earth! Students were challenged with different questions relating to showing the Sun on Hawaii!
Some of our students in A-1 worked with our Technology Team to create PSA Videos addressing different issues! Congrats Scott, John, Rebecca, and Sylver!
Week 4 of our Koa Tree observations! Also harvested our bush beans, the class is debating how to eat them!
