To help students ability in working with others and being effective communicators we had a team building challenge exercise! Students had to get a marble across the grass area into a bucket, with only 4 notecards! There were lots of tough rules to follow, ask them how it went!
Students were asked to make Equivalent Fractions with popcorn! Taking a unit fraction like 1/4 and showing an equivalent like 2/8!

On your writers blog... Reflect with a couple sentences on what this quote means. And how you can apply it to your life! Helping students understand fractions through art! Looking at the equivalents of 1/4's, 1/8's, and 1/16's! Check your Module 2 Stepping Stones Home Letter for ideas to help students connect fractions at home and in real life!
Flyers went out in this week's Wednesday Folder! Send the bottom half back in the Wednesday Folder if your family is able to attend!
