We helped our buddies do some basic experiment observations! They helped guide them in recording observations, measure pumpkins, and weigh pumpkins. This was great practice of the Scientific Method, and a great way to work on our GLO's and Tribes agreements by collaborating with another class and students!

Our class helped Mrs. Young's 1st grade class and their individual buddies with researching, designing, and creating an animal! The students exhibited the GLO's Community Contributor and Effective and Ethical User of technology by mentoring younger students, and also practiced their own research skills! Just wanted to remind families that we are having an evacuation drill tomorrow at 8:30 AM. We have a significant walk to the Teen Center. If you can make sure students use the restroom before leaving the house, and/or before walking into class at school. I would also recommend students having athletic/walking type shoes!
Have a good evening! Our last day of school was enjoyed with a pizza party and some cardboard challenge play time. Our buddies from Mrs. Young's 1st grade class came down to test out of the games! Mrs. Colte, Mrs. Petry, and PTO helped organize the schooled activities days for Cardboard Challenge. Volunteer soldiers came into help out and run some stations! |
